Assemblage : Manipulating Found Objects and Materials (CAPS!2017)

My series of works is a response to the ordinary and familiar objects around me.

The experience of the whole process is fun as I immersed myself into enjoying the little things: picking up the right potential objects, the cutting, burning and embedding nylon strings/threads, the cheap "thrill" of squeezing out the hot glue gun just to make sure it landed on the tiny space I have at the brim of the bottle, or even to decide at which point to stop or continue. These actions may seem very mundane but they gave new life and meaning to the objects that were once left unnoticed.
